“California Hazara Community (CHC) is an ethnic group we support and help people of all ethnicity and backgrounds and we put a lot of effort into helping them. We hold religious festivals such as Eid, Ramadan, Muharram and etc... CHC has been able to thrive solely on the generous help of it's members. CHC was formed when the Hazara/Shiite people were looking for a Mosque and now that it's found one it has created a rich community around it. CHC was not able to provide many resources for it's members when it was found but with it's growth it has been able to expand in many areas: providing Language and Cultural classes in it's Mosque to ensure the future generations do not lose what's most important to them, helping the needy in Afghanistan by sponsoring families for any kind of support, and providing necessary resources for it's members that are far away from their home. We also help elevate the knowledge and spiritual energy in our young Muslims in this Mosque, besides teaching them another language and more info about their backgrounds.
